Beginner Yoga

    Gain a basic understanding of fundamental postures. Slow-paced classes ensure proper knowledge of poses and their benefits. Ages 12+ (children must be with an adult). Bring a yoga mat. Led by Michelle Grimes. $55/6-week series; $10 drop-in/class; $5 student drop-in/class.

Yoga For Weight Loss

This series focuses on a strong mind-body connection, while toning the body and burning fat.Experience how yoga speeds up the metabolism and enhances self-awareness. Drop in for $10/ class.

Calm by Candlelight-
 Warm Slow Flow Yoga

Tuesdays, 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.

This soothing class will move at a slower pace where breath is synchronized with movement through a calm, sweet flow practice.  Experience improved range of motion and joint mobility while releasing stress and tension from the mind and body. Students with chronic conditions, injuries, and arthritis are especially welcome to benefit from this class! The class with Michelle Grimes will be practiced by candle light to calm the senses and encourage peace of mind. All levels welcome, from beginners to more experienced to practicing yoga. Drop in for $15/ class.

Buti Yoga

Join us for a preview class:
- Friday, April 27 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. (activity #6070)
    Buti yoga is a blend of power yoga, tribal dance, hip/hop and plyometrics. Promotes deep abdominal toning. Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water. Led by Michelle Grimes. $55/6-week series; $45/ 100 milers, Meritus & WCPS staff; $10 drop-in/class; $5 student drop-in/class.
